We passed them off the park tonite

And went toe to toe with thier thugs when required,a real victory for proper football,disappointing crowd but lots of people are still on holiday,shud be a decent turn out on saturday though, as for the football,simply magnificent!

Absolutely brilliant!  Good to see us staying strong as well defensively 2nd half.  Agree...very disappointing turn out  ???

But who cares atm! cant stop looking at the table!

We are getting better game by game, the plan of shoot on sight is working brilliantly, what a goal by CD.

I am loving our midfield and the composure they have.

really good to see midfielders having confidence to shoot from outside box , mainly kearney and crowell

Tonight showed we had finesse when needed in the first half, the spririt to come back from one down and then the mettle to see out a lot of pressure.

Quite brilliant.

For the reasons set out in Ecky's post, the best win for a very long time and certainly this season. Not the prettiest, but we'd have lost that game comfortably last season.

The spirit to come back from one down is an important point. In previous seasons, heads have dropped far too easily at such times. Well not any more ! And every single player gave 100% from start to finish. Tonight gave me more pleasure in terms of commitment than anything since that great afternoon at Stoke.

Very correct. The first thing i thought after we conceded was how are we going to react, as in the previous 3 games we had not been behind at any point. The boys and staff should be proud as we once more sit 2nd in the table only behind on goal difference.
