A game they to win of they are finishing in the play offs. This will suit our counter attacking.
Only place up for grads is the rw berth.id keep Donawa in i think.
Alty 2-1 Oldham (Newby Banks)
Cant wait
-
I don't think they'll attack us at all. I think they'll sit and try and catch us on the break. However, an early goal for us would cause utter mayhem at their end and it could become toxic. The team sort of picks itself unless JA is fit (in which case there will be a decision to make).
-
Can’t see any big selection dilemmas unless Justin A is fit. Only one game a week after this until the end of the season so full strength & full tilt. If both sides play to their standard levels we should win but Oldham will make it a slog & they are generally speaking a much tougher nut to crack away from Boundary Park.
Hope off the pitch arrangements go smoothly, though the club are well versed in handing larger crowds these days. Weather forecast good too so fingers crossed we put on a show for the telly & do to Oldham what we did to Rochdale a few weeks ago.
-
Their form is almost too bad that they're kinda due a result, but their fans play a big part and hopefully they're pissed off from Minute One.
I can't see anyone from their camp having the desire to man mark CCC out of the game for 90 minutes to go 9v9 against us - fingers crossed he runs riot.
Other results have definitely given us a bit of leeway to draw this one, however let's get them seen off and then there's only really one playoff trapdoor place left.
-
We have a tendency not to turn up for home games where there is a big crowd.Let's hope this bucks the trend. A draw would be ok

Although you're totally correct, now's not the time for faint hearts.
This could be the game which secures us a play off spot. Let's just get right behind the boys and help them over the line!
Come on you Supers indeed! 😉
-
Let's go for a win as usual, hope the team turn up for a good sized crowd and a win would really put us on the path for a play off spot.
-
Hopefully we get north of 4000 Through the turnstiles tomorrow. It should be a cracking game..
-
It sounds like there aren't that many tickets left, so will easily be northwards of 4K.

That's 3000 backing Alty.
These are the days, the nerves are kicking in here, itching to get on the Golf Road and watch our wonderful ground fill up. How the club has bloomed since 28/04/2017.
Bring your best voices. Get the noise ramped up to 11.
Come on Alty.

That's the spirit! Let's get behind em and cheer em home to a great Alty victory!

I hope there is no pyro in the ground (but an absolute sh*tload on the allotments)
There has never been a better time to put on a show for the cameras.
An early goal will turn the other 1000 there against Oldham.
-
Just home. Great win and here we go to the play offs!
Come on you Supers 👍 🇦🇹 🏆 🥇 🇦🇹

Thankfully that run has now ended, play offs are almost there !

great work from ground staff to prepare the pitch. i feared for it when driving to ground.
the segregation worked a treat so big well done to the club
the match made me sick esp 2nd half. balls of steel our defence. don't know why newby was withdrawn and not donawa.
how lunstram doesnt start for them is bizarre.
-
Great display from the boys today! Special mentions to Ethan and Baines for winning us that match! Some great saves and one of the best clearances/blocks by a defender that I’ve seen… as good as a goal! Dorking will be a dog fight but feel it will be another match like Kiddy with a big win and bringing home the rewards in the end.
-
An unbelievable battling performance.
All did their part. Baines and Ross were something else.
Keep it rolling boys, Saturday will be dirty and tough “, but we can do this.
Buzzing Parky is sticking with his best available 11 and formation.
Up the reds.

Huge credit must go to the management team for learning from previous poor outcomes - firstly by sticking with your first XI but also by showing much more willingness to ring the changes earlier on - rotating from the start and then running everyone into the ground for 90 really was the worst of both worlds and I have no idea why we did it.
The double change exactly midway through the second half was absolutely spot on, in terms of timing and personnel - and effectively ended their spell of pressure. George Wilson is having to learn fast at this level and was starting to look a touch ragged, whereas Newbs has played a lot of minutes compared to JD. Mitch Hancox made a positive contribution in the last 25.
I think Jake Cooper deserves a shout out too, for bouncing back so well after Gateshead - he looks assured taking the ball under pressure and saved the skin of Lewis Baines in the first half when he uncharacteristically lost the ball when committed quite high beyond the defensive line.
Regan Linney is so dogged and crucial to everything we do - I feared his deflected shot off the post might have been a bit of a sliding doors moment, and he definitely deserved a goal for his efforts.
The lads should all hopefully feel fresher for Dorking and let's hope we can get Justin back too.
What an Easter!!!

Beat me to it Mick!

Lundstram had been unwell in the week so did not start I heard.
Fantastic performance overall, as we tired the double substitution was spot on. We didn't freeze on TNT for a change.
Personally I felt Kiddy were more of a challenge than Oldham. Nearly at the play offs, would be great if could get high enough for a home tie. Credit to grounds staff getting game on as Fylde and Halifax fell foul to the weather. Great support and hopefully more of the floaters will become regulars.

Just to add as well from an organisational point of view for such a large gate I thought things ran very smoothly. No queues to get in on the Pop Side turnstiles shortly after 2, usual quick service in the FZ & stewarding light touch. A good model for how Moss Lane could operate in League 2 I think. Not sure how it was in the CSH, for those in the Main Stand/Golf Road.

Apart from the announcements after the break. It was cringe worthy.
