I've been critical of the club over the past few months but tonight was cracking.
The gourmet street food was courtesy of Altrincham Market vendor 'Tapas Altrincham (who also own a local restaurant) which got rave reviews
The hog roast was lovely and sweet potato fries were a nice addition.
The bottle bar had a huge range and even the program was full of different sponsors to what we usually get. (Not milking the same well dry etc)
There were so many people I didn't know tonight which was wonderful to see.
The club got tonight spot on. Roll on tomorrow.
Well done Stacey (and the rest of tonight's volunteers.

Spot on Jack, really well set up event last night, looking forward to more of the same!

Indeed. Very impressed with last night and I hope everyone can make it down there over the course of the weekend to show their support. It doesn't come together over night, well done to all involved.
-
Completely agree with all of that. Fantastic night, unbelievable hangover. Brought a load of pals who had never been before and they had a great time. Well organised and a great success. Fingers crossed the weather holds out for the rest of the weekend.

Indeed, good night was had by all.
Well done to everybody.
Big day today, with the reserves.
Good luck to them.
COME ON DOWN, and enjoy the fun.
I think the new manager is making an appearance

They'd probably be sh*t

Couldn't make it I was working but the wobbly bob ale is the best in Britain
Lucky they sell it in the market tavern some times
-
For the size of the venue it will rival Stockport beer festival I can
imagine ,which was a huge cambra event

Great night last night, We really enjoyed it. The band were good as were the excellent 4 piece folky band in the open mic. Favourite beer was the Battlefield Gold (although were biased as its local to us at home here in Shropshire).
Many thanks to all who organised it, you did a great job.

I recommend the Alty Ale, Wobbly Bob and the Old Slapper. The Chicken Paella was very nice. I would like to see Sun Chaser on the ale list next year.
-
Did they sell that dragon cider ? I can't remember how many goals we scored against Droylsden
That day I reckon it was strong stuff

Definately.............think 18 beers on the hand-pull pumps with a 'proper' bar set-up and the adjacent cider bar.
Two good bands on Saturday night as well - Alty TV's very own Shaky Dog and a outfit from Warrington called Vala -(four piece folk band with electric violin and ukulele)
