There's a news story about Jake Moult that has just gone on the club's website.
-
5 weeks recouping then a period to get match fit. Can't see him not missing a handful of games.
Wishing him a full and speedy recovery
-
Get fit fella, don't rush it though...
-
Candidly, a fully fit Jake Moult is a crucial part of our best team and if that takes until September to come about then so be it. All the best to him for his recovery, but take all the time needed to get 100% right, skipper.
-
Whilst we will miss Jake, it will make selection a bit easier for PP with that abundance of midfielders. Guess, Branston will play Jake's role for a bit.
-
Definitely a blow, but we should have the quality in the likes of Branson, Williams, Richman and Harrop to have that area of the pitch adequately covered. I doubt PP will rush him back.
Hopefully we'll start the season so well, he faces a fight on his hands to win his place back - that's what we want in every area of the pitch really.
Who wears the armband then? I assume it'll be Hannigan.

Densmore. In the event he doesn't start, Connor Hampson.

All three are sensible suggestions. Not sure Dens will be a first choice player though.
