Last week I travelled on the train from London with Sutton on their way to Wrexham.  They got trounced, picked themselves up and this week won 1-0!!!

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Memories of Alty Book?
« on: November 14, 2020, 10:07:21 AM »
I have had a chat with John Coyne who is driving this project, and here is his response:

"This is very much still a project that will happen. I was making decent progress in June when it was confirmed the play-offs would go ahead, and then all attention turned to producing the Robin Review Special Chester programme, and planning for the game itself. Since then other projects have taken priority; commercial commitments for 2020/21, new Alty Direct website, Robins Review Season Review etc. We are expecting a bit of a mad Christmas with the new gift products - tie, frames, calendar, mugs etc - so aiming to pick this back up in January, to be published soon after."

Thank you all for your patience - this is going to be a great publication when it comes out (and this delay gives me a chance to get off my laurels and submit my fondest memories of Alty!

Lets hope this season gives us a chance to write some new chapters in the story of our great football club, and even more we hope that we can do it in front of a packed crowd in The J. Davidson Stadium

I can categorically state that Jordan Hulme was not at last nights game.  I would be happy to give views on the long list of people who were not at the game if required.

we have had some network issues in the second half which we think are now resolved.  We will look for root causes after the game and remediate for Saturday

Just to let you all know that those of you who were having problems overnight, that it was not down to you.  There was a problem with a couple of ticket types which still thought we were playing the game on Tuesday and therefore at 2200 last night assumed the game was over.  Fixed now; sorry for the inconvenience.

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Yellow (3rd kit) Shirt
« on: November 10, 2020, 07:29:57 PM »
We didn't put the third kit on sale at the beginning of the season because we wanted the focus to be on the new home kit.  We are still considering when to put the yellow shirt on sale.

Thats Enfield you've got in mind Steve.  Wealdstone was two cart horses Byatt and Bowgett at Centre Half, the Cordice brothers up front and a young Vinnie Jones as well as a young Stuart Pearce

Does anyone know if the profit from the stream is split between the two clubs For a cup match in the same way the gate receipts would be?

Yes they are!  For the FA competitions, streaming money is treated as gate money and shared between the clubs

A dogged performance from Alty sees an 88th minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Alty prevailing 4-2 on penalties.  The (AltyTV Live) attendance was a very creditable 212

They have been sent out and most of them have now been received I understand.  A couple more laps of your hall should be rewarded with a new arrival on your doormat!

« on: September 29, 2020, 11:50:10 PM »
Tonights attendance was a very healthy 246 (households) which included 168 Season Ticket Holders.  Thank you to all of you for your patience and your very useful feedback.  There are a few issues we need to sort out with the ticket ordering system but we hope to be in much better shape for Weymouth on Saturday.

It will be very interesting to see how many we can pull in for that game.

The media team have shown once again that they are a massive contributor to the forward progress of this club.  We trialed the live broadcast earlier in the year with the Live Replay matches - Blyth, Chorley, Guiseley; so we knew our technology would hold up.  Tonight we have shown we can connect Alty TV and Radio Robins to a streaming service and that we can collect money for this.  Both really important forward steps.  Now we can begin to improve the match day experience.  Not as good as being there, I know.  Hopefully we will be all back together in the not too distant future
