you must have seen them behind the goal.....can anyone explain?.....are they perry family members or something?

they got really upset when perry's 2nd goal was ruled offside today

don't get me wrong I'm all inclusive but I worry they wont stay around after kyle has gone.... unlike that bloke who made a cult out of ian tunnacliffe...... ;D ;D ;D

They are just keen young Alty fans who have latched onto Kyle for fun I think, I suppose there aren't many players who also front quite a cool band as well so he is a good target.

I think Walshaw was just a bit too northern for them  ;D

I know that group very well, I stand behind them in the Golf Road end at every game. Mark is right, they are a young teenage group who have latched onto Kyle and kind of adopted him as their hero player. They are a nice bunch of lads who are Alty through and through; and celebrate Kyle's goals vigorously whenever he scores. They are between 14-16 years old and to my knowledge are unrelated to Kyle. They just like his character and as a fronter of a rock band, find him cool. They constantly shout Kyle's name throughout the game, especially during warm-ups. Kyle responds in the usual bemused fashion and just smiles. Deep down though, I think Kyle is grateful to them, if a little embarassed. The first thing I do when Kyle scores for us is look over directly behind the goal where they are usually going apesh*t, much to my amusement.

They are future diehard Alty fans, we need many more like this. Alty have always had an interesting mix of loyal fans, in particular Kenny Palin and many other characters I have known through my last 38 seasons, and it is a pleasure to have known every one of them. I wonder what will happen if Kyle ever gets punched by an opponent; I would imagine the perpetrator will end up spending a long period in traction!!

A very nice bunch of lads who believe me, have thew club and in particular Kyle Perry very close to their heart. If they had earning capabilities I am certain they would be his shirt sponser also!!!

I like their sense of humour and agree they seem a bunch of nice young lads and hope they stick around!!

personally though I don't like the beard....this debate could rage fiercely for years and potentially split the fanbase!

Please dont ask me why guys, but I have this recurring dream where Kyle scores the winner in the last minute of injury time in our last game of the season; thereby landing us the league title.

Is it a dream, could it be real, and can you imagine the fan-club reaction????

When I first started in 84-85, there was a very vocal group of Graham Bennett fans ("Benno-oo"). A couple of years later, John Timmons had a fan club as well ("Timmo-oo").

Jim, brilliant memories mate, Runcorn 86 in the Trophy at Wembley, you lead a massive sing and follow chant, my Man City mate was very impressed, can you recall it?
