Imagine a team comprised of that lot in their respective primes:

Mark Maddox, Mal Bailey, Paul Cuddy and Gary Talbot in defence.

Graham Heathcote, John King and Jeff Johnson in midfield.

Ronnie Ellis and Ken McKenna up front.

The great Barry Howard on the wing.

Just need a goalkeeper.......where is Peter Eales?

You wouldn't want to take on that formidable collection of players.

What we would have given against Farsley for a player of Barry Howard's ability on the wing to open up their defence.....
