I thought the barrow friendly was at home? Barrow and stockport are just the sort of tests we need prior to the season opener, should be a good yardstick as to where we are at

So we are less than 7 weeks away from start of the friendlies..

That doesn't give the new manager much time to recruit & train with any new players or the current ones too.

When will they be back in training ?

Whilst i think Barrow away is a good test, it's probably a costly trip & we could have been better getting a more local
fixture away from home as we are on a much less budget now.

Training normally starts just before the friendlies.

I'm sure I heard that Barrow was at home...

Where are Utd XI? I thought they played a friendly here in our agreement to host reserve games.

My thoughts too. That's always a decent money-spinner. Draws a bigger crowd than most of our league games. Maybe the TBA is hoped to be against United rather than Curzon?

Still, overall I think it looks a good preseason.

It does look a good pre-season with some decent tests in there.

As others have said, surprised that there's no United XI game
