Problem is we'd never see him play for us, away on international duty this week and then the world ends.
Typical!

He would appear to be a good signing on paper but actually be very average when he played.

I'm definately going to try the 'world is going to end' line with lots of women at the weekend. I'm not sure what the odds are that one of them will be thick enough to believe it AND to make me their last ever dalliance. Howver, they are higher than last weekend....

As a Scientist I am a little distrurbed by the following quotes:-
"The group responsible for the experiment, the European Nuclear Research Centre (CERN), says that these mini black holes will vanish as quickly as they are created.
But the anti-CERN brigade accuse the scientists of playing God, warning that no one can guarantee that the black holes will not survive, rapidly growing in size to suck the Earth out of existence in an instant.
But CERN, which includes several UK scientists, say their work is vital to unlock the secrets of matter that forms everything known in the universe. "
To be honest if there is the slightest chance that the black holes will enlarge then don't do the experiment. How on earth have they got a health and safety certificate for that!

People said that about the RHIC too.
