Altrincham FC First Team / Welcome to the new manager...
« on: May 23, 2011, 05:22:54 PM »
Whoever he is,.... I'm sick of waiting. He will either be fantastic (a new Alty legend) very good, not so good, crap or awful and we will know that by;......tomorrow, next week, when we win or lose our first match,...answers on a post card to the Chairman! or on here as usual.

Please will somebody put me out of my misery please :D

Everyone at the match were handed a list of current methods of supporting the club to reduce the deficit, just wondered what each fan on here has/will do this week to help? see the club site for details,.........for example become a patron, or attend the dinner 15th April or end of season party, join TASC etc.

You know it makes sense ;D

Altrincham FC First Team / Who's injured or not available for Gateshead?

Having seen the reports from AFCW on saturday etc, I'm puzzled who is likely to be out/unavailable this coming saturday,...... :-\ anyone know?

Altrincham FC First Team / Marc Joseph is great

Sick of seeing this negative drivvle about one of our most consistent performers for many weeks,.....in the other topic. One things for sure,...........as soon as he has served the ban he will be back in the team, and kenny knows exactly what he brings to the side now. We all make mistakes, even Forumites :D

Altrincham FC First Team / Lets keep our feet on the ground....
« on: January 09, 2011, 04:22:55 PM »
There is always somebody who poors cold water on us fans when we get excited about things, and the day after we finally climbed off the bottom of the table,...its gonna be me I'm afraid. I'm as chuffed and excited about the performances/results this year 2011 as the next man, and clearly Kenny and Bimmo are now really showing that they know how to manage a squad and to get the best out of players, and the players deserve a lot of credit for the shifts they have put in recently (especially since the Curzon power cut).

However, we have a small squad, a load of injuries right now and a lot of games to play over the next few weeks, and we cant rely on Stuart to save every shot that comes at him, can we!

Just like we didnt go overboard when the results were dreadful, we shouldnt do now either when results are better. We still have a long way to go, but we clearly now have a realistic chance of staying up IF WE KEEP PLAYING WELL and get men fit. We will lose some forthcoming six pointers, barring a miracle. I just hope we dont have to rely on the AGM cup this year.

6K out of Blyth next saturday would be the result of the coming week (so we can afford to keep/get one or two players),....and no injuries at Runcorn ;) ;)

Altrincham FC First Team / Andrew Milne...has he?
« on: January 04, 2011, 09:45:49 PM »
Signed for Alty now?......see the BBC story from Barrow, I thought he was still only on loan? I hope he has now signed until end of the season.

Altrincham FC First Team / Marc Joseph for England,.....
« on: January 03, 2011, 07:34:39 PM »
......yes I know he's too old and already capped by Antigua/Barbuda, but he was OUTSTANDING AGAIN today. He took a while to settle when he first came and got a hell of a lot of stick on here for a while, (from Forumites who will remain nameless) but he must be one of our best and most consistent performers for us now week in week out, and set up the goal with a great header too ;)

I know the whole team played really well, (without exception) and considering the wholesale changes from Wrexham I really didnt expect this result, and it's probably unfair to single out anyone for praise (well done Kenny too),...but here goes............

Well done Marc. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Altrincham FC First Team / Messenger back page....ooops!
« on: October 02, 2010, 10:26:02 AM »
Just seen this weeks messenger paper, shows picture of Chrissy Denham,.....with the caption...."Shaun Densmore sticks the boot in against Grimsby" and then at the bottom shows a picture of Coatesy tipping over a shot,.....with the caption..."Alty are now looking dangerous in attack". Even with Flynnies help the press still cant get it right,..and this is the local press not the BBC bozos :P :-[ :-X :-\

Must try harder ;D

I understand that the FA will issue a temp international clearance after 30 days, which means he should be available for York on saturday. Can anyone confirm that?

Also, Densmore/Danylyk both told me (outside the chippy in Southport) they should be OK for saturday as well, but not Robbie L. Lets hope Denham & Reeves are OK.
