Just a quickie......Michael twiss was a much heralded signing.....since when he has hardly been mentioned and was only offered once in our starting line ups for Luton.......sorry I've been away and not able to get to a friendly yet....what do folk think of him?

He got injured in one of the friendlies. Looked a yard off the pace but obvious quality with good control and neat touches. With a decent injury free run in the team he could be a good addition but way too early to tell...

Might make the bench early doors, but needs to sharpen up before he gets considered for a start. By November, he could be up to speed.

He collided with an advertising hoarding at the Tranmere game, expected to be out a couple of weeks so expecting to see him back next week.

I don't think we can wait until then before he makes a telling contribution, to be honest.

The disappointing aspect is that he turned up for the pre-season games so far short of fitness.

The concern is that the pressure to score goals at a reasonable rate is going to fall on fewer shoulders.
I'm hoping that Dale can step up to the plate and add this to his game this season.
Damien and, of course, Chris Denham need to keep ticking over well too.
