Shooting ourselves in the foot

Only at alty could this happen, the team assembled has had injuries but it still has the quality to be top 4 at least, so a couple of fall outs and it seems LS doesnt have the motivation or the skills to get our players fighting for eachother or even pick his best team!

Boxing day will be very interesting.

Unless we win our game in hand by three clear goals we will remain outside the playoff zone. Another defeat could see us down to ninth. Regular readers will be aware that I saw this coming. Believe me I take no pleasure at all in being proved right.

I shall still be there on Boxing Day.....I'm planning to be at Barrow and Stalybridge too. But my preseason optimism has totally evaporated.

Its a strange situation and i dont think many clubs would have the patience to give him season after season, ironically heathcoate went becuase of poor results against higher quality teams, but now lee is still here after some pathetic results against inferior opposition in the league and cup.

I think one thing that might save us is the fact that this league is so poor.
Last season we really would have had to win the league to get out, such was the quality of the teams in the playoffs. This season there would be no-one in the playoffs that I wouldn't fancy our chances against.
A top 5 finish may be enough, surely we are capable of that.....

ithi nk the point is we should be capable of winning this league but we appear to be intent on blowing an excellent chance of getting back where we belong .

The point is that we are where we are and we have to be realistic about our prospects

About 85 points will win this league maybe less so if we get our act together we can win it however that may mean a different manager and if we continue to start perry you can forget about even the playoffs

The next four fixtures will be make or break, anything less than nine points we can probably forget the title
