Potentially £13,000 income up for grabs in the next week?
« on: December 12, 2008, 12:30:36 AM »

Feel free to correct my arithmetic if my figures are incorrect....

The ideal course of events:

(i) an Alty victory over Southport on Saturday earns £5,000 in prize money courtesy of the FA;

(ii) the Burton Albion v Farsley FA Trophy First Round tie on Saturday does not end in a draw;

(iii) Alty play (and defeat) Burton Albion at Moss Lane next Thursday evening in front of the Setanta cameras and receive £8,000 from the TV company.

Quite a significant few days ahead then.

If all goes to plan, the club could even afford to buy George Heslop the following costume that he has set his heart on for Christmas....

It is.

I also think the returns for Setanta games increase the more you are on. £8k for the Burton game then £10k? for the Vics game.
