I like the sound of that too, but I think a few Midlands clubs which were not included in the original list, such as Coalville, Grantham, Kidderminster, Nuneaton and Stourbridge, and maybe even Mildenhall, will be included in the northern half.Glossop away please
+1
Even they'll get a new chairman before us.As long as we don't get their old one. Now there's a nasty bent bastard.
What’s more bizarre is certain sections of social media are insisting the FA Cup draw is taking place at victory park Chorley on Monday
2-1 Alty...

It will be good to see Greg Young back at Moss Lane..
Am I right in saying Young won't be involved? He was sent off last week.
Ok your probably correct..
Is this now an expense that we would have done without, knowing the Shaw Lane game is called off? I suspect this game was a big factor in a loan signing being brought in with it being an important game.
We should send NPL the bill for his wages!
Good luck to JJ should a full time club come in for him, as long as they loan him back for the remainder of this season.
We sat in the small stand out of the rain and wind, that was more than half full of Alty supporters. I reckon we had at least half the crowd yesterday but were in 3 main pockets because of the awful conditions.
I felt as most, we lacked a plan B and PP was happy with a point, whereas with a bit more tactical changes we could have pushed more for 3 points. I was bemused not to see Dens on at one point in either fb positions, also why not Peers? No Miller either on the bench.
I thought the substitution of Walsh was bizarre as not sure of his pedigree and where he came from. surely more established players should have been coming on?
Not sure why he is now up North but he came through Bournemouth's youth system and has played at several Southern Non League sides such as Salisbury,Welling and Aylesbury.
Last away League meeting - Sept 9 1978, drew 1-1
Last away Cup meeting - April 19 1979, NPL Cup SF 2nd Leg, lost 1-5 (aggregate 6-9)
Last 'competitive' away match - Sept 24 1979, NPL Challenge Shield, won 4-2 (if you count champs v runners-up match as competitive)
Last competitive meeting anywhere - Sept 30 2000, FA Cup 2nd Qual Rd, lost at home 0-2
The original fixture list scheduled this round for the week commencing Nov 27th, but that could prove to be a moveable feast given the way this league 'organises' its fixtures ...
A few memorable games there, Mike.
I'm fairly sure that the FA cup defeat was 0-3......Danny Murphy tore us apart & we signed him about 2 weeks later.
Didn't
Any players unable to go full time we could approach?
I doubt there'd be any willing to drop two divisions.
