They've been on a really good run up to last week, and they've not made the Trophy semis by some fluke.

If we can play like we did against York, we could sneak a win, but I see a 1-1 draw with us coming from behind late on.

Tomorrow will be a tough match for us, Gateshead completly outplayed us in the FA cup and won easily. We will need to play as we did against York to have any chance.
Having said that, I think that we have to win this game and the one on Tuesday. A win by any score will do but we have got to take more of our chances from here on in.

Alty 2-0 up at half time but then things go from bad to worse as we finish the game with 8 men.

Our line up at the back is going to be interesting with Bateson coming in. It would't surprie me that either Smith or Joseph will play in midfield.

I would take a point (with a win at Barrow on Tuesday to follow) but I can't see anything but a loss.

A nervy 1-0.they hit side netting in 89th minute and everyone at far end of the pop side think its gone in

The win eases the pressure for the Barrow game,who draw with York,meaning we go above them and its more must win for them than us.

A hard earned 1-1 draw.

Gatehead seem to be a bit of a bogey (Ian) side for us especially in the last few games.

However I do remember the previous season when we beat them 3-2 at home.

Heres hoping but it may be difficult with our squad; if we are on our game today we will beat them. If we just turn up, we will get beaten heavily.

Go for it lads and lets start moving up that table, it will be hard work but you are all more than capable.

A few more than that I reckon. In fairness to them, whilst their home crowds are poor-ish, their away following seems to be reasonable. Plus, stranded all the way up there as they are, this is one of their closer games. Might be 40+ of them.
