I think this boy should be playing as a..........

....centre forward! 

It struck me yesterday in the first half at Stafford. We know he's not a winger and we already have Pottsy but yesterday when we were playing 4-3-3 in the first 20 mins he was getting right up there on Azzas crosses from the left, holding of defenders, chesting them down.

Think about it 

He runs the channels well, all day, can hold the ball up, not bad in the air, his finishing isn't bad either (I think he should get more goals than he does), wouldn't be bullied by conference defenders, we badly lack a presence like that.

Worth a go? Anyone else see this?

We could do with a big lad upfront and Lawton seems to link well with senior. If we continue playing long balls and deep crosses forward (rather than to the feet), i'd give lawton a go as a target man. We all know he never stops running and i think he could cause a few problems to some defenders in the league who don't even need to jump to beat senior in the air.

why thankyou it took 48hrs of intense raving to acheive those shots! thats just half of them too. i believe there are another 50 or so floating around on other cameras!
