When was the last time we were top of a league?
-
When we won the unibond
-
Year 1999
Date:
After playing:
-
I don't believe it was 1998.
-
We were top of Conf North after two games in 2004.
-
I seem to remember being top of the conference at least during a 2-1 win at Hayes and Yeading in 2008/9 possibly 2009/10. I remember us singing, "top of the league and we're having a laugh." Don't think it lasted even until the end of the game though?
-
I would have to say after three games
-
It did last to the end of the match it was after 4 games by 18th of August 2009

That's it though, I really think there is a lot more to come from the team. We've been good in our opening 4 games obviously but there's another gear to go up to here.

I'll be a lot happier when we've seen off Telford/Brackley etc. Don't think any of the sides we played so far will be challenging at the top. Still a great start and a confidence boost for the tougher games. Histon and Leamington very winnable too.

Agreed but wining becomes a habit (sorry cliché I know) and Hyde and Chester have shown that if you can get away from the pack early on then it seems like an impossible task for others.
Bigger tests to come but we have the squad to beat anyone in this league now and I have never thought that before.

Having looked closely at the first 10 league fixtures(obviously we've already played 4 of them) I actually believe we can return atleast 26 points from them which would be fantastic for momentum etc.

Presumably North Ferriby and Guiseley draws?
1 A Worcester City
2 H BARROW
3 H STOCKPORT COUNTY
4 A Vauxhall Motors
5 H HISTON
6 A Leamington
7 H OXFORD CITY
8 A North Ferriby United
9 H GLOUCESTER CITY
10 H GUISELEY
-

Id say it maybe 25 points from the 10 games and I wouldn't worry about guiseley they won't make the playoffs

If we don't have 30 points at the ten game point in the season I for one will not be happy
I feel a lot of people on this forum have lowered there expectations somewhat and it's not acceptable

My expectation is 28 out of 30
Of course no reason why it cant be 30 out of 30
We the best team, just dont tinker to much!!

With only 1 midweek game out of them 6 I don't think Sinnott will tinker as much
