In administration.

What a shock eh? Why on earth did they stay full-time and keep talking about 'the potential to get into the Football League'??

Idiots. Get out of the Conference, give a well-run club from the BSS or BSN a chance.

The AGM cup is starting earlier and earlier each year.

Basically, to sum up, nobody is prepared to take on £200k worth of debt, not even for £1. Whoever is 'interested' (in a very Halifax 'iminent' takeover style), might well have money but they've no intention of using it to pay debts. They want to spend all there money on the ego of funding a promotion push. If you can sort out this debt you've got by paying the creditors f**kall then yes we'll be happy to take it off your hands and repeat the process.

Ballers is absolutely correct........it's just a cynical and morally incorrect way of clearing debt to allow new owners to come in.

Blame the FA and the Conf......10 points is a joke......until admin = automatic relegation + minus 10 points the following season, it will continue. The authorities have had several seasons to do something but have done nothing and have failed all the well-run BSS clubs who stay within their means. They never even bother to comment on the matter.

Blame also HMRevenue; their local officers should be watching all football clubs like a hawk.

The HM Revenue are to blame for the majority of problems clubs are facing. If they didn't tax the life out of them they would not have these ridiculous debts. The government should be forced to account for every penny of our taxes. This legalized theft has been allowed to go on far too long. I blame these idiots who continue voting Labour and Conservative despite the fact that both of them have years of proven failure.

Realistically this season we can almost certainly see Salisbury and Chester go down. Hayes, sorry to say, look a formality and theres plenty of clubs worse off than us.

The lads need to find the frame of mind that this season is about seeing how far we can go, relegation doesnt need to be on our agenda for a change. Surely with a bit less pressure on us we can attack more freely and play with a bit of confidence. We should be using this to our advantage.

As for Salisbury, this kind of sh1t isnt even news anymore, cant be arsed to go over the same old ground. Wonder how many of their tw@tty fans will stick around?

Salisbury won't go down, they know they've got a decent top half side, as evidenced by the fact they've already got 10 points that they could easily toss away. You think them reaching 10 points and the transfer window closing was a coincidence?

Oh dear. A bit of Thatcherite neo-liberal revivalism there. It is quite expensive running a police force, one of the world's largest and most active armies, and the world's third largest employer; the NHS.

It is not HMRC that are to blame. We face the same taxes as Salisbury. We cut our cloth accordingly, they don't. They should be demoted.

How very cynical of you! (and how true, too)

Correct.
If the BBC is to be believed their manager and now 'man upstairs' has said something along the lines of "we can turn this around into an advantage"..............quite bloody right you can. Spending money you don't have on players, then legally avoiding paying it back, is quite an advantage as far as I am concerned.
Sensible spending clubs are being relegated from the BSP and sensible spending clubs are missing out on promotion from BSN/BSS as a result. Yet the the Conf and FA sit back and let it happen season after season.

He then goes on to say something like "with the quality of players we have we can soon overcome the 10 pt handicap"................Anyone from the FA/Conf like to comment ?

Let him go and tell all the companies that they owe money to that they can overcome the debt they have to shoulder due to the selfish cheating tosspots that run these clubs knowlingly spending what they cant afford and knowing a quick ten point deduction will do and fix the problem so they carry on trading as a football club..

It is nothing more than cheating.  All these clubs should be told that they will be playing in a division lower next season wherever they finish. That way they may well budget more suitably to their means..

Salisbury will probably survive the drop at some other poor buggers expense.

They still have to agree a CVA and i think HMRC are the biggest creditor.....HMRC seem to be running out of patience with clubs they have told Vics to get bent a couple of times and want the full amount repaid not a percentage.
Dont think this will be a new begining ...obviously any investors waiting in the wings are not interested in buying debt so will they still look to purchase if there is a substantial repayment schedule via the CVA ?

They are cheating spiders but i dont think they will get out of it as easy as they think...

Couldnt agree more.

As for Salisbury being allowed to get away with it, i'll go out on a limb and say that the attitude that got them into this mess wont get them out of it. Those days are on the way out. Weve gone from being an AGM laughing stock to being seen as a fine example, which is what us lot knew all along. Sometimes youve just got to put a bit of blind faith in authority to do the right thing, even when you know theres a chance it might not happen.
