In a weird way, our performances at home this season - Mansfield excepted - have actually been pretty decent. Should have beaten Darlington and Kidderminster, did well to contain big-spending Crawley... Thank heavens we've finally turned one of them into a win.

I said before the match that a draw would be progress...in fact a 3-0 defeat would be.

So very well done Ken and the lads...it doesn't just take football talent, it takes the right frame of mind to turn it round completely....we have gone from hopeless to hopeful.....that is an achievement and something we needed to move on and we have got it.

Now lets just keep it in our heads that we can do it ......and kick on from here!....and keep playing for your places in the famous alty side to claim your eventual place as an alty legend coz alty legend himself ken has an eye for a player and is determined to bring back the glory days......BITE THEIR FKN EARS OFF KEN!

My somewhat contrived league table vs par is as follows (a par score will get you to 54 points at the end of the season)

13   Fleetwood
12   Mansfield
10   Tamworth
10   Luton
7   Wimbledon
5   Newport
3   Darlo
2   Rushden
2   Kidderminster
2   Southport
2   Crawley
1   Grimsby
1   York
1   Wrexham
0   Cambridge
0   Gateshead
-1   Kettering
-1   Eastbourne
-3   Barrow
-4   Bath
-4   Alty
-4   H&Y
-5   Histon
-8   FGR

FGR are looking bad as they have 9 points despite having played home games against Eastbourne, Southport, Gateshead and Bath as well as travelling to Hayes amongst others

Just got back-what a superb effort all round.  Well done lads!  Everyone played well in my opinion.  Joseph had a slow start but really played quite well in the end with some excellent passing from the right hand side.  Welsh got man of the match and he did play well but I thought Robbie Lawton was excellent today.  I never doubted his commitment or heart but I worried he struggled to win the ball as much as I'd expect him to in some games over the years.  Today he seemed to position himself much better and had a few decent runs with the ball.  Fantastic Robbie-well done!  I crossed everything at one moment when Smith nearly talked himself off the pitch-thank goodsness that didn't happen.

The funniest bit of the match was when Lawton shouted over at Jimmy mc and Jimmy shouted back words to the effect of "..  What did I do?" to which Robbie shouted"... I'm fuxxxxg thanking you-shut it will ya!".  Very funny moment!

Well happy.

Been dancing in a warehouse in Daventry paying off the trip to Eastbourne but don't care about 12hour days when you get 3 points.... :)

WELL DONE LADS ... WELL CHUFFED FOR EVERYONE CONNECTED WITH THE CLUB.

Never been a fan of Marc Joseph, but Ken played him in a different position which proved to be a great move.
Kens got the job, I think thats pretty clear.
Robbie Lawton, couldn't really ask for a better captain, a quality match for him all round.
Welchy was brilliant, apart from that failed long shot attempt.
Atmosphere was epic.
I'm a very very very proud alty fan tonight.

Well done everyone!

Not just Robbie, but the whole midfield tonight - Anthony Danylyk ran his socks off, and Shaun Densmore put in a cracking shift. Ryan Brown looked a different player from his dodgy performance against Kidderminster. And while Welch was man of the match, I thought Robbie Williams was massive tonight !

Great show lads - wish I wasn't at this stupid wedding Saturday, because Grimsby won't be fancying it after tonight !

Got to say a big well done to both Robbie Lawton and Anthony Danylyk today, both were awesome today but for me everybody including Marc Joseph did their bit on the pitch today.

Well done lads, give yourselves a pat on the back for a great and highly enjoyable game. Well done to all my fellow fans for the terrrific atmosphere, especially the quashing of the Barrow fans attempted wind up in the first half. Some terrific and funny insults flying about, absolutely hilarious fun.
