so i've been thinking about this for a while
to the poddington peas theme tune:
http://youtu.be/iB3K7eFFXHE
Down at the Moss Lane Ground in Alty
He's scoring goals with glee
He's on the march with Sinnott's Army
His name is Damian Reeves
He's scored more goals than Lionel Messi
Keep it a secret now please
He wears the Red and White of Alty
His name is Damian Reeves
Damian Reeves
Please expand on what to me seems quite a cryptic observation
He's been several times
never seen him part with a penny though
Isn't that the point of being invited to something?
More generally who on earth would switch football allegiance on the basis of what their local MP says!?
The idea of getting BBC employees to moss lane is a brilliant idea with so many people moving into the altrincham area due to relocation. Lets hope some of our contacts within the corporation can highlight the offer and get it emailed around to all staff based up here now.Its a really good way to introduce people new to the area to the club
There was an Alty fan involved with the production of Radio 5 Live that we use to see at Southern matches as I think he lived in the Kingston area when BBC were based down here. I remember talking to him at Oxford U one year.
In the summer, with Kettering’s debts at £1.2 million, Ladak brought in George Rolls, formerly of Weymouth and Cambridge United, as owner and chairman. The club had no choice but to enter a CVA — voluntary administration — and accept, with it, relegation to the Evo-Stik League Southern, two tiers below.
Rolls said he would keep the club full-time, offering John Beck, the manager, the chance to bring players in on substantial amounts of money.
The PA isnt audible at all now in the main stand - its quite frustrating!
And when was the last time we made some money from the FA Cup?
the team create very little goin forward and the defence is still leaking goals.
