This was the stand we sat in that day pictured recently.

"Sad" is not a big enough word.

That is an exceptionally sad picture.......& of course it could quite easily have been us!!!

I would ask everyone who has had a pop over the last few minutes/hours/days/weeks/months/decades (that includes you V. of D.) to reflect!!!!

I can still picture the jubilant scenes after we won 2-1 that day. I never thought for one minute it would be our last ever game there.

A stark reminder to all clubs of our size of how important financial security is compared to quick success on the pitch.

Forest Green, Crawley Town and other such clubs take note!

Those pics are heartbreaking.

Im not sure these co called chairmen who plunge clubs into these situations realise what is on the line. They should look at those pictures very closely. Very grim!

I've no idea why as I have no affinity to  Scarborough, especially after the £10,000 of the Ellender money we lost,  but those pics really upset me.

I can remember when the stand had blown down in the middle of the pop side and Maunders was about to shut the club.  Myself and three others made a drunken trip to Moss Lane in the dead of night, jumped in and just sat on the popular side talking about old goals and stuff.

Its terrible to see it really happen.

Terrible to see this happen to any football club really, and all the more to think that we used to stand and sing there. R.I.P Scarborough

It would be good if people associated with a lot more clubs looked at these pics. Some of these clubs might begin to appreciate the importance of good financial housekeeping.

Its not that I have a particular fondness for Scarboro or many other clubs, but it would nevertheless be a shame to see other cluns with history and a decent support end up like this.

I'm devestated to look through those pictures, it sends a chill down my spine to look at them and know that a match will never be played there again.

"Sad" is not a big enough word.

At least there isnt as many seats for them to remove at both Northwich and Crawley, every cloud an all that.
