Altrincham FC have just announced that Sam Hewson, a midfielder from Manchester United, has signed for the club. Sam will have squad number 20

Must be that ex Manchester united youngster.

My lad Tom tells me that on FIFA 2010 he is rated 60/100 overall in terms of skill and that is the equivalent of a great league one player !

Sounds a super signing
Hopefully will bring the best out of Crowell who in my opionion has been way of the pace this season and poor on the ball, if Lawton is fit i'd like to see lawton/hewson partnership in midfield against kiddy

Great signing, remember watching him in the youth cup. When Graham mentioned he was on the verge of signing a player who was recently released by United I wondered if it was him and I am happy to hear the news

I've seen him play for manchester united reserves a couple of times, nice touch and good passer of the ball.

plus i had him on loan at Oldham in my football manager game so he must be good.

Matty Crowell was also rated 60/100 on Fifa 10 for Central Coast Mariners would you believe

On FM2010 he's 91 potential 120 which is League 1 to Championship standard.
