Glad we all agree
Well done to the Youths, never gave up against full time opposition.
I streamed for the first tme through Ticket Co TV on smart TV via fire stick I purchased. Overall quality much improved over streaming via laptop/hdmi onto TV. Buffered a couple of times but not sure whose fault that was. But overall excellent.
Will do next home game the same way.
Am I missing something here? Are South Shields really full time?
(been waiting for Football League football since 1965! 😉) 😏😊
1964-65 was actually the first Alty season covered by the Rothman's football year book (Wigan won it on 67 points apparently), with 65-6 being the first (I think) of several seasons that Alty should have got into the fl by my calculations (if it had been 4 non league champions promoted instead of 4 fl clubs standing for reelection - absurdly seeing Barrow voted out - the Cheshire league would surely have qualified as one of the four leagues). It seems there were some stonking FA Cup and Trophy crowds in those days. Wigan had 5 figure crowds on more than one occasion (crazy they didn't get voted in until 1978 - when 'Dale should've been voted out), Worcester got 6,704 in the Trophy quarter final against "Trelford" (Private Eye), and even Alfreton got 4,400 v Barrow. (South Shields beat the real Bradford 2-1 in front of 2,000 in their last fl season).

Very good deal for us. Wonder what would have happened if it had been announced a few weeks earlier....maybe Macc would have survived???
In your model you'd be expecting the guy that buys the corner shop to pay the debts of the previous occupant.
Is that known as "Arkwright's Syndrome" ?😉
I'd expect them to have a little more decorum than Macc have shown this week with the sports bar whilst local suppliers will have lost out. They have bought the assets for no doubt pence in the pound - including a Twitter account with the clubs old badge used to launch this new bar.
Money can buy a football club, but doesn't buy the ability to read the room.
Think they're going to be paying local suppliers upfront for quite some time!
