Altrincham would still need to finish above Farsley.

We still have to ensure that we finish above Farsley in order to take advantage of yet another reprieve though, so a victory tomorrow is imperative regardless of events at The Shay to avoid giving Farsley any glimmer of a potential lifeline.

I'm changing my way of thinking here...forget Stevenage...we must finish above Farsley.

This does look like another reprive, not holding my breath though.I will take it,lets beat Muff tommorrow first. Its sad when we get save by other clubs demise though and my thoughts if this does happen are with all the Halifax fans and players, after all its not their fault.I know at the end of the day a club should only spend what it can afford to and not run up debts that it cannot pay off(not saying this is the case with Halifax)and then expect to stay, always sad though.

So its 3 down again.

Farsley will certainly bare this in mind on Saturday when they take to the pitch. If anything this makes our job easier now. Why? Because there is now no doubt whatsoever that Saturday is a must win game.

We have a chance to be safe on saturday or at least in with a shout. If anything i'm glad about this because it proves that a 10 point deduction just takes the p1ss in terms of punishment.

Just read some of it - £500k+?  in debt and the Administrator's offer is 2.5p (vidiprinter: TWO AND A HALF PENCE) in the £1 to the creditors. Never mind 10 points deductions etc when is the FA / Conference going to treat football finances responsibly and properly? If this is the means by which you survive as a full-time club you can keep it. This fits the phrase 'bringing the game into disrepute' much more than making faces at refs.

f**king hell, just read that entire thread, makes for depressing reading.  I do feel for the fans.  Still hope they go down tomorrow though obviously.

Tomorrow is must must must win game. However, if Halifax die, and things keep going like they are at Rotherham, both us and Farsley could be reprieved!

AGM Cup is so much fun.  I still think we can, nay will, stay up tomorrow on points.
