Anyone got any ideas from North Manchester- looking to leave around 5:30ish.

M62 past Leeds to M1

Turn right and follow M1 south - Go past Sheffield

It should be signposted after Sheffield

If you hit Nottingham you've gone too far - Although Forest are playing Crystal Palace if you get lost !

And traffic should be reasonably ok at that time (as good as it can be in rush hour anyway!)?

I would take the Woodhead pass route to the M1 myself but I've no doubt it will be a traffic nightmare at rush hour.

Go over tops to chesterfield then take the A617 to mansfield its well signposted from chesterfield
