Before Rushden, people were saying that they would be happy with 3 points from this months games.

Do we still think that?
Personally I'm not (although hindsight is a wonderful thing!!).

I think we can beat any other team in this league on our day, home or away.

(I can hardly wait for Saturday, btw)

I was thiinking the same thoughts.

On reflection though, we were unlucky to get only 3 points and played well against some of the tougher teams in our league. To be able to say that after these 3 games gives me great comfort and I am feeling very positive about the rest of the season.

I think yesterday completey hinged on the penalties, up until that I thought we were actually the better side, epseically the first half of the second half!   Also the Mansfield game I feel we threw it away ourselves by losing two men!

In summary i'm very dissapointed we came away with nothing from two home games that we could have easily got something out of.

Agreed. We've been unlucky not to get more than 3 points from the last three games but I'd take the three and a win on Saturday with the hope of a decent cup run to bring in a bit of cash.
We're long overdue a decent cup run and, as others have said, this team is well capable of getting a result a result against any team in the league.

A point at Oxford would be a nice bonus too though. We don't want three league defats on the bounce.
