Arrogant Workington Manager
« on: January 12, 2012, 11:02:16 PM »

Edmondson said, 'Altrincham are vulnerable at the back and we have pace to burn, so we know we can cause them problems. We have the players to hurt them but they are not a team to take for granted. If we perform at our best then we will win the match and extend our unbeaten run to five matches'".

They are not a team to be taken for granted?  If we perform to our best we will win the match?

Who does he think he is playing, Altrincham Miners Welfare?

Granted they are on a good run but last time I looked they were 17th not top.

Let's hope we carry on the good work we started at Hinckley and shut this fool up!

He sounds rather delusional if he believes that David McNiven has got "pace to burn"....

I believe that was a misprint and should have read "cake to burn".  :)

"It’s not ideal because, in Gareth and Jonny Wright, we have two very good footballers for this league, and without them we are not as potent in attack. The other lads will have to step up to the mark because this is a game we can win'.

Apparently they'll best us without two of their first choice attacking options

Love their local papers description of Gareth Arnison...

The goal ace, who has seven strikes to his name this season.....
Only a few more needed to catch up with Damian then!!

To be fair, he can't exactly come out and say "We're going to get shafted at home by the side with the 6th worst away record in the league."

I dont understand how they have more of a chance without their 2 best players or something, and I can't understand why there is absolutely nothing posted on the forum about the game on saturday. Well, not even just saturday, just their forum in general. There is no activity and they seem more fussed about the reserves than the first team. Weirdo's.
