Marc Joseph...prompted my most memorable moment from last season's match threads when I said he had one big cock up in him every game and someone else said it's no wonder he can't concentrate then...that was probably jennifers dad...

Dootson? does your goalkeeper's kit resemble the superman outfit? coz when a cross comes in he suddenly flys off in a different direction presumably to save the earth from some evil villain.....decent shot stopper though.....unless it's 5 minutes from time and the ground's a bit bumpy obviously...

Joseph was solid enough towards the back end of last season but it maybe we were just pleased because he wasn't constantly making mistakes, he was hardly great.

Put it this way I'd have been absolutely mortified if he'd been signed on for us again this season, mortified.

I think Marc has the potential to be one of the best centre halves in your league - if he has the right levels of attitude and confidence.

I hope you can still say this Ballers after seeing our new centre halves this coming season for a few league matches  ::)

You negative bounder. First people say we should piss this league, then we get comments like this, almost assuming we'll be shipping goals.

And I know it's a forum and everyone has the right to an opinion. Just strikes me as odd that there are so many extreme ones.

I can guarantee you I absolutely will be, surely you can't be serious to suggest he should've stayed. On either a vfm or just leadership basis or just plain effectiveness. I despair.

Yes his positional awareness stood him in good stead away at Curzon?

I didn't go to Curzon so i can't comment, but taking last season as a whole, I don't think there was much to choose between Rob Williams and Marc Joseph.
One has gone on to remain playing in the BSP, one has dropped to the unibond. disparity.

The disparity is probably due to Joseph being almost old enough to be Williams's father (and about as quick).
