Just read about the death of Robert on the official site. Although I didn't know him, that picture of him with his scarf and his hair sprayed red and white for the Millwall game has really upset me.
And the fact that he got Col Littles shirt at Weymouth and was so pleased.
What a tragedy.
Thoughts go to all his family and friends. Anyone who openly displays a passion for Alty like that in the world of City and United is a friend of mine.
Bet his family were very proud of him.

Losing a child is un-natural and my thoughts are with his family :(
-
Very sad to hear of the young lad passing away..
I didnt know him but his family and friends must be devastated.

echo every thing ecky said
R.I.P. Robert too young :(
-
Having two children, one with asthma and a potentially life threatening nut allergy, it brings things home. As Mark said so upsetting to see the picture of one so young enjoying his day now not with us.
Terrible news. RIP young lad.
-
Just to echo everything said so far and add my own condolences to everyone who knew him. RIP

I am deeply saddened by this. I don't know what else to say really, but when I take my place at the Golf Road End tomorrow Robert will be in my thoughts.
-
Terrible news, he was no age.
We seem to be on a bad run with fans, just brings things in to perspective.

Not often I shed a tear when reading the Alty site :(

Just saw the article on the main web site even though i did not know Robert.A very sad bit of news indeed.Heart felt condolances go out to Roberts family.
He will be watching every game from above.

As an asthma sufferer with asthma suffering children and obviously as a fellow Alty fan this is personally very distressing.
I didn't know Robert either, but pride myself a judge of character. This young lad who was a junior robin and had done works experience at Moss Lane was clearly the sort of youngster who had a bright future and was all set to mature into a decent young adult who would make his parents dam proud. He also looked passionate about alty and as if he would one day one of those alty following stalwarts leading the choir perhaps or writing the next chant...although most of us seemed not to know him personally we will miss what he was to become.
One thing about being an Alty fan is that you unconditionally become part of the family and I hope someone will print off these tributes from Robert's fellow fans and that they will be of some comfort to his family.
Rest In Peace Robert.

So sad.
Sleep peacefully Robert.
Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

15 years old with all his life to live in front of him another tragedy at such an early age. RIP
-
It just seems so wrong that things like this happen. I too didn't know him personally but he seemed a fine young man. Deepest condolences to his family and friends

Terrible news, condolances to anyone who knew young Robert.
It is very saddening that we have lost three Alty fans to sudden deaths recently.
R.I.P.
-
Such a shame. Rest in peace little man.
Perhaps today's game against Wimbledon could be dedicated to his memory.
-
Very saddening to hear. I didn't know him to speak to but saw him around the ground a few times at matches. I remember seeing him at that Millwall match (hard to miss with the hair) and if i remember rightly there was a picture of him in one of the papers.
Sincere condolences to his family, nobody should lose someone so young. Rest in Peace.
-
I didn't know him at all but remember seeing him with that hair at the Millwall match which really made me smile.
As I battle with my current illness, it makes me feel very humble to think of someone so much younger than me who has passed away like this.
Every time I feel sorry for myself, it is worth remembering how very lucky I am.
I shall be at the match today, thinking of that poor young man's family and how tragic this news is.
I'm sure all Alty fans will feel quite numbed by this very sad news.

Very sad news and heartfelt sympathies go out to the family.
Puts a lot of the meaningless rubbish we moan about into perspective.
-
This is tragic news and my thoughts also are with the family,
Rest in peace Robert.

Truly sorry to hear the news of losing somebody at such a young age.
Commiserations to his family and friends, and his colleagues at Broadheath Central.
Sure we have probrably met over the years when I was at Unicorn JFC.
RIP Robert from a fellow Alty Fan
