Shame you supporters up north can't see when you have a ref on your side. ::)
But heyyyyyyy
You Came
You Saw
You went home ....... RELEGATED :'(
:) :) :) :)
-
I think you'll that see if you watch you'll see that Weymouth were the dirtiest side we have played this year.
Add to that your forgetful 90 year old manager who didnt seem to know half your players names, and felt the need for timewasting subs in injury time...it was a bit odd.
How Seniors leg was not broken by that challenge I don't know.
To the decent Weymouth fans on your forum, all the best.
To pricks like you, you're on the kill list with Salisbury and Ebbsfleet for the going down sh*te.
-
Well said Mark, can do with out IDOITS like atmb in the game.
-
Just watching the Setanta reply. 12 minutes in and Parker correctly says "everyone knows that that should have been a red card" refering to the Weymouth no 3's challenge on Senior. The high five he got from his captain running back from his conversation with the ref was a disgrace >:(
Just seen the replay of Weatherstone treading all over joe - not even booking. This ref was worse than he looked live!
-
Agree a poor ref, they should have had 3 sent off
-
Definatlt can you believe that he will be a linesman in the euro 2008 if hes the linesman anyone could win the euros.
-
Good support from the local Police i thought
-
Can't say I disagree too much with these comments about our discipline, it surprised and disappointed me too. I agree Challis was lucky not to walk for that challenge on Senior, however it was matched by Scott's on Critchell for which they both went. There were many crude challenges in the first half by both sides - but mainly admittedly by us. However after haf-time something was said in each dressing room and it settled down somewhat to an entertaining game of football after the break.
I hope none of this sours the good relationship both Muff and Alty fans sem to have fostered of late and I hope you guys bounce back to the BSP at the earliest opportunity. Good Luck!

To be honest, when Scotty slid in, he was on the floor, not rib high (remember senior was a fair bit off the floor), he did not know the ref had already blown, and he GOT THE BALL. At no point (During the tackle here) did Scotty touch the Weymouth player, and there was no need ofr his reaction. It seems that he was sent off for defending himself.
-
Scotty himself said he raised his hands.
Still a poor decision by the ref

We thought the support for Alty was first class, excellent singing, great flags, well impressed with your numbers and passion. Made a proper day out on the train after the Leeds scum at our ground on the Friday. Paid to go in your end as could not face even setting foot on home soil. All the best in the NPL, proper club hope you return soon.
Yeovil lads
-
Cheers mate...thanks for taking the time to post.
Yeovil..theres an example of a proper non league club come good.
Many a sh*t day out in Yeovil and a defeat, at both grounds.

Just got back in after a horror 4 hour train journey to Waterloo. Yesterday was bittersweet. The lads gave their all and really battled for 90 minutes, not to be though. To be on that terrace behind the goal was a real privilege though, the atmoshphere and vocals just first class, a lot of old faces there and I think I felt as knackkered as the lads on the pitch at the end of it. The usual late night in Dorothy's then last night, a lot said about Halifax's plight, if it happens it happens and I for one will gladly take a reprieve, you don't get days like yesterday in the Conference North. Roll on August.
-
Why did the police just video and harass us all game.
THE HOME FANS COULD DO WHATEVER THEY WANTED TO DO.
THIS NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO >:(
-
An unofficial source (the taxi driver who took us back into Weymouth after the game!) told us that the police had been told that Leeds fans who were also staying in Weymouth following their game at Yeovil on Friday night, were planning to come to the game, and took the action they did following advice from West Yorkshire police.
I stress that this is unofficial, and to be honest, I saw relatively few Leeds fans in Weymouth anyhow.

It sadens me that yesterdays results have at this time relegated you but had we been playing Halifax I am sure you would have wanted us to put everything into it and not just rolled over
As for some of our tackles yes they were indeed reckless something that has been evident this year and is reflected in the number of red cars we have recieved.Hopefully it isd something we address next year
I am pretty confident that you will still be playing us in BSP next year. Not that I wish ill on Halifax but their plight is indeed immense and in truth the suns owed to us the taxpayers are un acceptable and if not addressed where is the incentive to pay your dues in taxes?
Your support yesterday was impressive and seemed well behaved one thing for sure is that Dorset Plod know only too well the impact Leeds fans have if they stay overnight (remember Bournemouth) the fact that they played in Yeovil on Friday night was bound to set alarm bells ringing and they must have been on a high state of alert for the number of officers in our ground was massive (at most we normally only have 2/3)
You should be proud of yourselves but irrespective of the ref etc yesterday that is not why you finished in the bottom 4.What I am trying to say is that if you do stay up you almost without question face the same next season unless you invest more in players, something you manager touched on during his comments after the game
As has been mentioned elsewhere our two clubs have strong and good links something that the majority of us Terras hope will still be the case in the future
Best wishes

Yeovil Fans i remember chatting with you both before the game at Weymouth,it was really nice meeting with you and good luck in the future

I can't comment on the large police presence on Saturday, maybe they were a bit worried about Leeds fans, but I have seen the Weymouth stewards in action before. We went to watch Weymouth v Aldershot at the beginning of the 2006/07 season (we were there on holiday), and a group of Aldershot fans were escorted out of the ground on that occasion for getting a little over excited. That sort of reaction can create more antagonism rather than stop it, especially when nothing is said to their own fans who are just as much part of the 'problem', if there is one.

i have tried to read through but i cant see anywhere
how many alty were at weymouth on saturday?

I don't think I'd have wanted you to put THAT much into it!

They were doing their best to get sent off and give us every chance ,it was just the ref wasn't playing along
