Vics to be kicked out of Conference North

Apparently the NLP reports that unless thay pay creditors the full 100p in the pound they will not be allowed in next season.

And Magic Jim Rushe wasn't allowed in the Conference meeting on Thursday as its only two people per club and he was the third!!

Bring as chair next time I'd say..

The same applies to Salisbury City and Farsley Celtic - see official Club Site for the full SP.

Ridiculous - that Vics expect to pay less than 100p in the £ to creditors.
I like the point that they think they have achieved something by paying their players wages this term.
All clubs in this situation should be liquidated and be forced to start from scratch, if they want to reform.
Chester should go, but in thier case I agree with the Conference as it would jepodise the 2nd promotion place to the FL.
What makes Vics cheeker than ever is the fact that they received a massive financial injection from this season's FA Cup but still dont want to pay people that they promised to pay in the first place.

How much did Vics make from the FA Cup?
How much do they owe?

If the former is higher than the latter then they really haven't a leg to tand on. They should realise they have an obligation & a responsibilty to pay, they should get their priorities right!
Who reckons they'd be the first to complain if someone short-changed them?

It would seem they have been scrabbling down there with the sharks for so long that they have lost any form of dignity whatsoever.

Many have criticised the Conference for its apparent instability with clubs being demoted, teams like Alty being reprieved and so on, but for me it is the only league in English football that is prepared to stand against defaulting and insolvent clubs, and on that basis should be applauded.

Though i applaud the conference having this rule, it could just be another rule which will be overturned by the glorious FA. I do find it hard to fathom where a club will suddenly find this cash in order to pay off their debts. I agree that some clubs have seriously taken the piss by teetering on the edge and having more takeovers than rover. But until the league finally sorts it's head out and comes up with a formula that will demand teams to abide by some sort of wage cap, or able to punish overspending properly, then these clubs will continue to overspend and continue with the boom and bust approach.

However, the conference haven’t really shone through this shambles well at all. They have consistently allowed chester to be a law unto themselves, merely repeating what happened at Crawley.

Interestingly why are the conference allowing clubs to have a CVA, with 25-50pence per pound being paid, and then deeming this to be contrary to their rules. Surely someone would have noticed the rules, and told the clubs that all their debts would need to be paid.  The only other rule comes from the FA stating that all football creditors must be paid in full. Something that Northwich, i think, have or are doing.
I for one hope Northwich survive for the following reasons:
1.they bring more than Ebbsfleet,
2.its 4-6 points every season.
3.Its not the same taking to piss out of chester and Wrexham.

all valid reasons if they weren't dicking about in the lower leagues.

It will be interesting to see if they do turf any teams out at the end of the season.

I doubt it will happen, but you never know.

I expect the Conf to expel them........like they did pre-season.........only for the FA to make the Conf back-down

that is exactly what will happen.  The rule about paying 100% of the creditors is meant in good faith but if a club has come to a CVA with their creditors I think it is over the top for the league to punish them further. Rightly or wrongly Vics won't get demoted at the end of this season - hope they get relegated though!

Thanks for you support lads, However Virtually all monies made from the FA Cup run have gone directly to the creditors. Yes we have been run badly but Chester being exempted just about says it all.
