Would it be too outrageous to suggest no one spends any money on catering inside the ground on Boxing Day?

With a bit of good luck he will be out (or in the big house) then and all will be right with the world, but if by some miracle he's clinging on by the skin of his tusks then PLEASE don't buy anything from the ground excepting programmes or 50/50 tickets as the proceeds for these go to the club, not Captain Mainwairing. Bring your own grub or have a pint at the Salt Barge or Black Greyhound. ;)

In reality the pubs won't be open that early on Boxing Day will they?

They open at 11:00 I believe, but you could always celebrate/drown your sorrows*  after the game.

If you are phoning regarding a fault press 1
If you are phoning to make a payment on a bill press 2....

I wonder which number I press to tell them I can't afford to pay?

I think the second option there would bring a rather confused look to Mr. Connett's brow!!!

"Make a what?"

If the food is as sh*t as it was last year then no.

Altho on a slightly seperate note, I don't think I have ever been hungry before about 7pm on Boxing Day after the old torquay dinner.

Last year it took everyone over half an hour to get served anyway. The Gazelle always brings a healthy supply of pies but I hear he may be out in Ghana by then.
