Vics are turning into the Newcastle of non-League...

BREAKING NEWS: Dino told to stay away

11:50am Tuesday 30th September 2008

DINO Maamria has been told to stay away from the club's training ground.

The Vics boss has not reported for duty today, Tuesday, after the club sent him on on 'gardening leave'.

They have refused to say whether the Tunisian will return.

"Dino is on gardening leave at the moment," said owner Jim Rushe.

"He will be pending the resolution of internal matters within the club.

"I will be making no further comment, nor will the club be issuing a statement, in the meantime."

He added that first team coach Mike Marsh is now in charge of team affairs.

The Guardian has tried to contact Maamria, but he is not answering calls.
