I agree with Bees on Twitter; probably worthwhile for football - but we should never play a rival in a friendly.

I won't be going as I'm still in Holland anyway, but one thing that struck me is that I'm sure we have played a friendly with them before in recent years, but possibly we were at home?

Edit: We played them at home in a friendly in 2018, so it's not like there isn't precedent for this.

It's a miscalculation, in my view.

I'd prefer it if we were simply to ignore them until the day inevitably comes when we actually have to play them in either a league fixture or a cup match.

Now that I'm old and slow, there are some grounds I will never visit again for various reasons. The Moss Rose is at the head of the list.
