Pitch update
« on: January 18, 2010, 11:04:56 PM »

Hello as i said on friday just a quick update on the pitch condition , it was the right decision to leave the snow on the pitch to go naturally by saturday morning the snow had all gone and if we had a home game would off been playable. The pitch today was in superb condition and i managed to spike the pitch to get some air into it to help it out and to help if we get a lot off rain towards weekend , the pitch will need fertilizing to give it a boost after all the cold weather and snow which will be done next week in case we get a cold snap again wed/thurs so lets look forward to some home matchs now . yours again Groundsman .

Bloody typical...

As soon as i'm back in wales these things called home matches (?) appear.

It's a disgrace etc etc etc

Thanks for the info. All information is good information. Great to hear that not too much damage has been done and you can now resume your normal duties.  :)

Thanks for this update, great news!

We're lucky to have someone with such a high level of expertise looking after our pitch.

I have been watching Alty since 1947 and cannot remember seeing the pitch look as good as it does now. Thanks for you efforts.
