The fact that they are now only a mere 6 points behind us truely unmasks our woeful form since October, they'll probably strike the killer blow to us and put themselves in to the playoffs on Good Friday infront of 5,000.

He got about 15 minutes, I'm just trying to make a point that all these centre half pairings weve tried, and we still conceed goals, they go else where, hall lees,Cowan etc and seem to do ok. Could it be somthing in the way we set up?

Cowan was the young lad who played 2nd half v northwich in the friendly?

Looked extremely solid and stood out and I mentioned then he looked the real deal......unlike smikle who failed to shine even in that match yet was given repeated chances afterwards.....

we have a focus mindset problem IMO as well as little cover in front of the back four

In fairness to LS I presume he thought we had enough centre halves in Luca, Leather and Williams with Rodgers as extra cover so didn't want another.

Williams has been unavailable for a very long time now . I would suggest LS should have be a lot more proactive in the transfer market. Especially in the search for a midfielder.

And had been injured for a month by the time Cowan played in the friendly against Vics.

2 good points. I didn't realise the Williams injury was before Cowan played.

Yes Jim, I agree, and as I've said above, do we concede some many due to the way we set up, rather than personnel?
