Wasn't at the game so will not comment on it.
What I will say is why do managers bang on about stats? particularly about the possession. Football is a simple game, and its all about scoring more goals than the opposition, a team can have 99% possession and not score then the opposition nick a goal and win 1-0

They don't give points for possession or any other stat so stop using them as an excuse/reason for a bad showing.
