A tad one eyed those highlights, no shot cleared off the line in injury time for example

I am certain that 1102 into Euston allows more than enough time to get the 1139 from Victoria to Welling (arrives 1216).
The Victoria Line is the fastest and most reliable of all underground lines and Euston to Victoria is no more than 15-20 minutes
The 0820 from Piccadilly is therefore fine
In over 20 years of regularly watching Alty away, the 'welcome' afforded to us by the stewards, bar staff and Police at Barnet was right up there with my worst experiences as an away day.
Not that I'll be there on Saturday but fully agree that they should not be allowed to set foot in our bar (but if they are, wait until they've all ordered a pint and give them 5 mins to drink it before ejecting them whilst all the while being stared at by stewards) and if we could get some incredibly officious GMP officers down to harass and search anyone paying into the away turnstiles then that would be lovely as well. Oh and then falsely accuse people of taking Class A drugs in the toilets and offer no apologies afterwards that would be another thing we could do. I'm sure there's others I've forgotten but even for the fact we may aid Macc's automatic bid I hope we absolutely smash Barnet into 2016.
Just out of curiosity, did you submit a letter of complaint to Barnet FC regarding their abysmal 'hospitality'?
The Barnet Chairman does sound like a tinpot dictator who ostracises/bans anyone who even dares to criticise him, so it would be fascinating to read the Barnet Board of Directors' justification for the treatment that the Alty supporters received.
150 saturday, new ground init
I seem to remember a Senior Cup-tie on January 7th 1980 when we sent a reserve team to Northern Premier League Macclesfield Town and came away with a 1-1 draw ... Macc got into the top level for the 1987-8 season & left it at the same time as we did - albeit in a different direction.
Returning to the original point of the thread, I don't honestly recall any special publication by the APL in its first season.
I have a copy of the 97 league table somewhere. Us top and you bottom.
You actually got a draw at ours that year, but I think you brought even less fans than you did this week.
Is Catherinstreet some sort of displaced person. She spends more time on here than she does the Macc Forum.
I dunno bloody Asylum seekers get everywhere..
I understood Maccs debts were far bigger than ours...
If you have seen the books yourself, then fair play.
Otherwise its just guesswork. 😉
You mean like a company health score of 3 out of 100 and 9 CCJ's totalling £32k?
This gets to the heart of the matter. If we'd run our club in the same fundamentally bent (hello fiddling grants) and financially irresponsible fashion that Macc have got away with (just about) for the last 10 years we'd have probably gone the same way as Northwich and Runcorn by now. Built on sand.
