..its as simple as that"

He should try telling his strikers.  I'd be livid if an Alty player said this!

Nicked from the Bllods forum...

"According to today's NLP Jody "expects Droylsden to go down but to do so with a fight". He puts our struggle down to lack of fitness and the gulf in class between full-time and part-time teams. Relegation is now inevitable, he believes. "There have been very few times when we have been anihilated" he said. "Most of the games we have lost have been by the odd goal and we always concede late on. It is to do with fitness, I think. The full-time clubs are able to work every day on training and fitness methods and that shows in our matches. We get to 75 minutes or so and then it always seems to be a case of tired minds and tired legs.

Banim highlighted the recent loss to York City as a perfect example. Leading 3-2 late on, the team went AWOL and gave away two goals to lose 4-3.

From a personal point of view he has enjoyed the season despite his sides struggles. "I have scored nine goals and I am pleased with my form. For some of us lads, from now to the end of the season, we can put ourselves in the shop window. I would definitely like to stay in the top division next season". He tips Cambridge United for the play-offs and Aldershot to win the league."

The reference to players putting "themselves in the shop window" is pretty awful.

If fatboy isn't in the BS North next year I'll eat my own beer gut.

In fact with a statement like that I wouldn't be surprised to see hyim shipped off to the lower league 6 months early.

Who'd have him....would we?

Sums up the money grabbing, no loyalty mentality of a considerable number of today's players. Makes you glad to have what you've got doesn't it?

I am rather peed off by the comments being a droylsden fan! So if we do go down it looks like most of the players will be leaving! A player himself whos departure is imminant told me that half of the players want to leave but pacey obviously doesnt want them to!

There's simply too much irony in that statement to even contemplate...

"For some of us lads, from now to the end of the season, we can put ourselves in the shop window."

Presumably a shop window that Dave Pace's lucrative company has double glazed?

I'm sorry Phil but we will definitely need video evidence for that!
