While he has served us well and undoubtedly improved as time went on, I'm sorry to say that my recollections re Karl will involve his mistakes-the needless pen at Dagenham last season and the suicidal pass across the 6 yard box for Stevenage to take the lead at Christmas. We have better players now to play at centre half and GH has done the right thing.

Good luck Karl, you'll be a great asset to your next club and there will definitely be games before the seasons out where we could have done with you.

Thanks for your hard work and perseverance!
