Anyone else think there was more like 3,397 there last night?

Main stand holds 800 I think?
Round figures 200 away supporters

Golf Road, Steps and Pop Side were very busy and am sure there was more than 1400 in there.

Having said that I am sure AFC would have it correct.

Would be nice if the town turned out every week in those sorts of numbers, but it does show the potential.

Yeah I agree, when I looked around I thought it was pushing 3,000. Technically we are able to hold up to 6,000 aren't we? Christ the place would looked jammed if we got that type of crowd in. Just think though, if ever we made it to the league, combined with better teams bringing a better away following, I reckon we'd average 2,500 no problem.

I believe the 1000 floaters that turned up actually only turned out to see Frank Sidebottom make a cock of himself, they all went home dissapointed - he was no where to be seen.

there were a lot of city and united fans there along with a lot of kids who probably don't go to football.

Despite the snackbar and noel white being unable to cope with that many. i'd gladly take it every day.

even saw a couple of wrexham fans and a bradford city fan.

Attendance given out over the pa at the ground as 2397. Attendance given out on the radio as 3397. Not sure which is the correct figure though.

If not then the ground was just over a third full, and I'd love to know where another nearly 4000 people would go...

The mausoleum was packed as well and I believe that is only allocated a very small amount (if any) capacity due to its design.

That makes a lot of sense. I thought that it looked more like 3,000! That must be our biggest attendance for yonks.

As I understand it, the mausoelum is not included in the official ground capacity at all.

The attendance was 3,397, the mausoelum isnt included in the capacity,as it has no barriers,if it was the capacity would be at least 500 more than whats currently allowed in
