Altrincham FC First Team / Fanfare for common man wav/mp3 anyone
« on: June 26, 2011, 08:46:37 PM »
My son is doing an Alty presentation tomorrow morning and wanted the fanfare to play at the end. Ive found some on the web that would do but I can only find quite slow to get going ones, whereas the one we play at Alty gets going to the drummy bit pretty quick.

A long shot - but has anyone got an audio clip readily available that we could slot in ?

If so please can you email me it to xxxxxxx

As context - they each have to present a newspaper article and do a talk on it for 5 mins, so my son chose the Lee Sinnott announcement.

Thanks

Stuart

I think I'll buy 1 adult and 2 kids shirts and Im glad its red and white. We delayed buying last season due to the change of sponsor.

Why are shirts so expensive - I can see Man U etc having a premium price attached, in a similar way to Merc & BMW vs Skoda etc, but why are Alty shirts a comparable price rather than being 50% cheaper.

Could we run a type of "Group buy" scheme where the more people who sign up to buy a shirt the cheaper it becomes based on a target profit that needs to be made to get the kits free and support Sensport and the club to a fair level?

How many replica shirts would Alty expect to sell in a season?

The reason for considering such a radical change in the home shirt was the poor sales of replicas through the club shop this season. This is important income stream for the club. That may be down to the shirt,

I was going to get shirts for my 2 boys for xmas last year, but as Geoff Goodwin had stood down it seemed a fair bet that the sponsor would change and so we've held off.

Surely a new main sponsor (fingers crossed) would help shift some shirts next season?

I like the current kit.

Robbie Williams seemed to be giving some message and pointing to Nicky as he came off.

Midweek games dont work for me and I guess for many in my situation.

I go to Sat home games with 2 of my boys (8 and 6), a TUesday night at 7:45 is bedtime so not only can they not go because of school, I cant go because of having to get them in bed and all the other looking after kids stuff.

Last night I think it was about 6-0 at 63 minutes when I'd finished all my jobs and could have come down.

God dam, as I have been saying Joseph is a clown full of mistakes and he has costed us tonight, I hope he loses his place !!!! poor subs too, forced us to sit back. Denham was a must !!! this was a 3 point fixture. Joseph should be experienced enough to keep his cool, idiot !!!

I'd refuse to let him on the bus home - muppet.

Although I do remember Chris Senior p*ssing me off last season when he waded in and got red carded.

Pitch looked fine last night as well at Man U v Geordie reserves. I was looking forward to a Sat match.

I like the betting idea, I spent £7 at the Bolton Blackpool game.

Turnstile Prices

Standing - Adults £13; Concessions £8
Seating - Adults £15; Concessions £9
Aged 12 to 16 seated or standing - £5
Under 12s seated or standing - £2

The prices arent bad I guess, I reckon the 12-16 should be £2 and then £5 16-18 perhaps as suggested. It would be interesting to see what the spread of ticket sales is accross the ticket bands.

and their reaction is generally '£13 quid to watch that sh*t?', so it's becoming more and more of a rarity.

I always get the same reaction from mates of "how much!!". I went to watch Bolton V Blackpool on Sat and that was £27, with a turnout of 27000.

perhaps a committee that sits under the board in the structure of the club. Its mission would be to raise the profile of the club within the local community and further afield, with volunteers from all appropriate backgrounds - marketing, community development, coaching, PR, business relations.

What happened to some retired guy who came on board last year to raise the profile with local business etc and he was only getting paid on a commission only basis or something?
