I've just loaded up the car boot with the free topsoil that was advertised on the main website - thank you Alty FC !!
I am curious though as to where it all came from, I saw the pile a couple of weeks ago and it was huge then - its still pretty huge now !
Is there any pitch left to play on next season?

Didn't he play Dr. Hans Zarkov in Flash Gordon

Hmm, York Alty perhaps you know but there is a reason why the Altrincham area had a reputation for producing good crops, back in the day. All of Carrington, Sale West and Broadheath according to my knowledge back in the 1860's were fertilised by the "night soil" from Salford.
Just popping into the kitchen for a salad sandwich.

night soil is one thing, but working class night soil is something else entirely!
