The thing that stood out to me was the abysmal pitch. If too many of the grounds are like that, or what we saw at Blyth, then anyone employing hoofball is going to have a significant advantage.

You would hope that if we appoint a manager who is experienced at this level they will be "in the know" about things such as the standard of pitches and tempo at which teams play.

We've got to be ready and able to deal with everything.

we were about that standard last season imo, slow mistakes etc, a few months ago people were being realistic and saying if we go down it will be tuff, now were saying this

We were like that last season, thats because we were f**king sh*t,and failed to win until about october.Where as this season we might have a squad together earlier than 3 days before the season starts, have a budget that more competitive in the bsn and not employ crap like holmes mcready and holsgrove after a 20 minute run out against tranmeres youth team.

Im only going off whats infront of me,they are supposed to be two of the best sides in the division, they look moderate at best, hell we nearly even nicked a draw at blyth with a display that was beyond abject against a side that was fired up to the hilt,we were shambolic, yet still would have nicked a replay if twiss hadnt dragged wide from 6 yards with the keeper to beat....

Its all a matter of opinions Jacko.. At the end of the day, none of us know for sure what the future holds out for us next season, if we did know then I guess Grahame Rowley would be offering us an interview for the job.

Personally I feel excited about next season, (I alway feel optimistic about the coming season)

One thing I am sure of and that is that we will be much more competitive next season than we were this season just gone.

Time will tell

what stands of to me is the massive crowd. looks about 4,000?

stuff we can only dream of.

If trafford council subsidised the cost of thousands of season tickets for kids, we'd get similar crowds to telford, They had gates exactly the same as ours, and perhaps a bit lower for 20 years
