Presumably not including our 4-2 win at Woodley Sports at the same stage of the CSC in 20005-06.

Bugger!  I had it in my head that we'd not won a cup match for 2 years - I went to Crewe but not Woodley and falsely remembered that as our first game.

Mumble, shuffles papers: WHAT I MEANT TO SAY WAS...

our first win on grass as a conference club since...

OBVIOUSLY!

We will either be drawn away to a bottom half Conference club (regionalised and therefore Northern): Halifax, York, Stafford, Rushden...actually I get a feeling in my bones we'll be away to Kidderminster and lose 3-1 or at home to Kidderminster, draw 1-1 and then lose 3-1.  Or away to Stafford, 5-0 up with 2 minutes to go in the fog when the referee abandons the match, we subsequently discover that one of our loan players once went on holiday with James Robinson and is therefore ineligible.  The FA instead of replaying the match ban Alty from all competitve football for 5 years!

Cup run - please, please - if only for the money - but on recent experience it's not going to happen!

No no no!!

We play Tamworth at home and draw 1-1. The replay goes to penalties after a 3-3 draw and we win 6-5.

Their "passion" flag still looks ridiculous.

If you seriously think a Tamworth v Alty match would provide enough entertainment for 6 goal you have been down i Kent too long mate.

Last year when we played tamworth about 4 times, every time was a horrible game to watch, the entertainment value was poor

That trend is not merely limited to last season.

Unknown team is usually something we do in the Trophy: North Ferriby United, Pwhelli and District, Ryhope CA (oh sorry we won that one)

FA Cup is more a team from a lower league - but we've heard of them - Mossley, Accrington Stanley, Rossendale United, Ashton United, Winsford United, Tow Law Town have  all turned us over since the glory days.  Thank god we beat Sheffield, Maine Road, Kendal Town

I have never been to an Alty FA Cup game because the past few seaons we have never made it out of the 4QR, i really do hope to get to the first round, so we can experiance the FA Cup atmosphere. A game with the met police would be funny
