Money making idea
« on: September 25, 2007, 09:16:50 AM »

For a fixed fee let everyone have their photo taken with the player of their choice. Frame it (A3) and present it to them on the pitch at the game of their choice.

To things to that idea;
1) Too many random people would sign up to it and there wouldnt be enough home games of the season left and is it really necessary!
2) It would cost quite a bit of money for the printing, photos ect and it would be very time consuming for someone!

Isn't it a bit odd to dismiss a money making idea on the grounds that it would be too popular?

No its not if it was a good idea! but this idea is far to time consuming, and i wont happen because we would loss to much money trying to make the idea happen, due to printing costs and photographers.
We need ideas like Go to 2 Alty games at home an then on your next visit to moss lane you have a discount or something!
or
All school kids in the area can gain entry into Alty for £4/5 or something!

I don't think increasing hte price for schoolkids by £2/3 will have the desired effect.  ;)

Compared to what? Other fundraising ideas?

and i wont happen because we would loss to much money trying to make the idea happen, due to printing costs and photographers.

Wouldn't that depend on how much you charged?

Partly it would but your not going pay like over a tenner 4 the prints are u? If you wanted it to happen it would probably be best if you got someone from the club wiv a digital camera and an pc and have them do it and not a proffesionall. Price would stay low then

PS stop picking hair over the price of kids admision you get the general idea i was using £4/5 as an example

Well personally I feel that a tenner for a  say 8" x 6" good quality photo would be a steal. Even without the frame!

IMO there is no such thing as a bad idea. It's just a question of how the concept works.
Worth looking into i reckon.

So it would be possible to implement the idea at a low cost both in terms of time and money?
