Title: Bury.

Thought you might be interested to know that Bury played an illegible player in the FA Cup against Chester.

After the draconian and insane* way you were treated, it'll be interesting to see how they deal with them.

* that's Draconian and insane to anyone who was sympathetic to Macc's problems last year, but to those who still witter on about us 'cheating' it was too lenient a punishment and you should have been relegated on the spot.

Silkyman,

Thanks for the link....but once again the dismal standard of education in Macclesfield has been demonstrated!

The word you should have used is: ineligible.

Illegible is defined as "unable to be read or deciphered"!

Oh, and Alan Zelem was rubbish!

As it says being a FA cup game the ultimate sanction is expulsion from the tournament. Bearing in mind they'll likely get knocked out next round anyway its hardly an issue, especially if they appeal and the jobs been done anyway by the time its heard?

Don't think they are flush with money so giving up the £24,000 they got for getting through the second round and the receipts of a home tie with Ipswich might be an issue, as it might be to Chester

I don't think they will have had the prize money yet though so the FA will just hold on to it.

They've been kicked out of the cup and are appealing for some reason!?!?!

In other news.. Macc taking 65 coaches to Chelsea after selling 4,900 tickets.

If only they would come to League games week in week out.

Perhaps they will for a bit after this.

Well, some of them anyway.
