Not sure if this has been posted before. Dodgy video quality but Alty are on right at the start - some brutal tackling here with the Alty players coming off worse.

The header to win the game looks like an ultra rare sighting of a Wayne Entwistle goal for Alty.

Is the chap who is standing in the tunnel and wearing a flat cap none other than Phil Taylor (alias Ladies Supporter)?

Indeed. At this point he looked like a crucial signing who would turn us into promotion challengers. His finish for the goal was better than I remember.

You can't beat an opening day win. They stick in the memory in a way that other games don't (perhaps because they've been relatively rare...)
