I've been totally underwhelmed by almost all of Wright's range, though the chicken and mushroom is good, and the balti is passable.

Oh for the days of Rogerson & Bailey in my youth !

You're getting a bit tedious now to be fair, bordering on spamming perhaps...

Be nice if you could give it a rest.

Chill out ballers, its only a bit of fun while we wait for the season to get going. I didnt write the Alty vs City review, just came across it and was amazed others like them too. Its not me that put the link in to TASC, everything has its sell by date, even pies!

Anyone whose day day is ruined by the brand of pie sold at a football ground is obviously a bit of an oddball.

IMHO the pies are not very nice but, as I can't often be bothered to wait in the (always) long queue for them (preferring a visit to the NWS) it doesn't really matter a great deal.

If taxi phil isn't impressed with the pies then i think we should sack the pie man and have words with the authorties to improve the pie selection , because lets face it if phil dosnt like them and he would practically eat a dead horse , theres serious issues in the snack bar

Why would u bother buying a wrapped up dehydrated excuse for a pie from the snack bar when u have the best chippy in cheshire opposite the ground?

I take it you've not been in Costas since the late '90s.

I did actually wonder about the horsemeat content of their meat and potato. Reminds me of the old joke about the barrow boy selling chicken pies for 50p each. Bloke asks how he can afford to knock 'em out so cheap, and he confesses that he mixes the filling 50/50 with horse meat. "Exactly 50/50 ?" comes the query. "Definitely ! One chicken, one horse" replies the spiv.

I am actually quite a fastidious eater.........very fast, and bloody 'ideous !
