Did anyone else notice that when Burns the sub was himself subbed, he seemed to throw his toys out of the pram and storm down the tunnel after picking up his gear from the dug out?

If he needed to be subbed for the formation so be it. Sometimes it happens in football for the greater good.

Looked very dis-interested to me. I know their goal was a flyer but surely you push the player outside away from goal, he cut inside too easily past Burns...

You play for a team, not yourselves...

To be fair, I don't think anyone expected that right-back to have a 30 yard left-foot screamer in his locker. Burns probably thought he was pushing the lad onto his weaker side.

That said, Burns had a poor game. I'm beginning to wonder whether the fact he looks off the pace is a lack of match sharpness, or whether he's just a lazy footballer.

He does rather put me in mind of Carlos Logan. In the first half hour of the Forest Green match, he showed what he had in his locker, and I was very impressed with him. But whilst there is no doubting his talent, his application seems to be, at the least, sporadic. Logan's problem while he was with us was largely down to a lax attitude to training and fitness - and I'm afraid Burns's inability to put in a full shift suggests more of the same.

Maybe we should see what happens in the next game before judging Aaron too quickly. Anybody can have a rush of blood or the odd show of petulance and whilst this is not ideal we shouldn't rush to conclusions.

In fairness to Burns, that's two weeks in succession that he has been asked to play out of position on the left.

However, having said that, I have to say that he looked overweight and unfit when he first joined Alty.....and he doesn't look any different now!

I honestly can't see him setting the world alight at Moss Lane.

I don't think Burns looked 'up for it', but we don't know the reason.

A lot of players seem to have various illnesses at the moment and maybe he wasn't feeling one hundred percent but had agreed to give it a go ?

Great result, but what a poor home following and what poor facilities considering it is a relatively new ground. How not to make money - tuck the catering facilities away in a corner, make it difficult to queue and don't bother to put any staff on

Those girls were astoundingly moody as well.
